The monochrome coloring, as well as the reduced geometric design manure typical of the handicrafts of that time. (Secession; Sezession; Latin SECESSIO "split", "secretion") in art describes the aversion mostly to an artist group of a art movement that is no longer felt.
In addition to a serial number, the umbrella stand does not have a manufacturer's stamp.
The object is attributed to the artist using other sales ads. In the original state, the stand on the upper handle has a coat of rattan. Unfortunately, this is completely missing.
Unfortunately, the condition is not particularly good. The color bursts off, the rattan is missing and it is very worn overall. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
