They are actually a lighter, more reddish purple than shown … Read more This is a STUNNING photorealist vintage painting of purple irises. They are actually a lighter, more reddish purple than shown in the photos, but no matter how I tried I couldn't capture the exact color with my camera. So realistic looking you can almost smell them! Signed lower right David Hamblen and dated 2006. Acrylic on MDB (medium density board). The painting itself measures 24" x 32" and is displayed in a heavy black metal frame measuring 25 1/4" x 33 1/4". Very good condition!
