Free standing wardrobe from the Gebrüder Thonet, Wien produced around 1900. Made from bent beech wood and then stained in a dark colour. There are five elegantly curved coat hooks that have a double curve for coat and hat; below is a space for umbrellas. The stand was carefully restored. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution
