This period Neoclassical cabinet from France, just shy of 6 feet in length, features a rectangular-shaped top with round profiled front corners that project outward, above a case which houses three diamond-panel front drawers set horizontally across the top (perfect for storing flatware), over three recessed panel doors, flanked within rounded column side posts. The cabinet is presented upon bracket style feet. The bleached cherry wood is complimented with a custom wash of color to accentuate the diamonds and various trim pieces. This early 19th century French console cabinet, with its great style and storage potential, would work well in a dining area as a buffet, or would be equally as nice used in a living room as a sideboard.
