this is just a great original piece. I have never had a matthew brady photograph before so I was very happy to acquire this one as part of a large collection of paper and ephemera. I have seen a few of these brady's album gallery in the past and there are some for sale on the internet and ebay. In my research I have only been able to find one other example of this scarce image and it is in the library of congress. This is a wonderful measuring 2 1/4 x 3 3/4 inches on its original mount. Photograph is in excellent condition with great contrast. The cdv is archivally framed with a cloth covered matte on the front and on the back it also has been cut out so the back of the cdv is visible. Really a great presentation of this scarce original and important photograph. Simple black metal frame is ready to hang. Frame measures 11 1/4 x 14 1/4 inches.
