Rich and playful original signed collage by renowned artist Frances Hamilton. The piece is titled '2 Rivals,' and is signed and dated in the bottom right corner 'Frances Hamilton 1980.' It's completed with gouache, fabric and gold leaf with sequin and bead accents. The addition of gold leaf gives it a little sparkle! It's framed in a simple black frame with an ivory matte and acrylic front. Frances Hamilton is a painter and collage artist whose work has been exhibited widely in New England for over 25 years. Her images are intimate, rich in color and often inspired by memory and dream. A unique piece of artwork that you could design a whole room around!
