The sleek modern three seater sofa "Veranda" by Vico Magistretti for Cassina c 1980s. Adjustable folding upper back and the outer 2 seats feature a swinging arm allowing to variably turn the sofa seats inward in a semi circle for closer conversation, and which simultaneously exposes the underlying rear lacquer shelf into triangular pie shapes between the seats, for holding glasses, books, or drinks.
Frame in matt black stained lacquered Ash wood. Black Leather upholstery.
Original "1st-Edition" Cassina Veranda 3 Sofa by Vico Magistretti bought at Limn San Francisco in the 80s. No tags. Limn was the elegant San Francisco top designer labeled store for furniture.
