Antique Rare Quarter Sawn Oak Double Side By Side Secretary Bookcase w Curved Glass 1900s Era
A rare antique oak double side by side secretary bookcase with 2 curved glass doors. Dates back to the 1900s era. Straight oak sides with quarter sawn oak front. Oval beveled mirror in the center. A fold down lid desk compartment in the middle with two pull out drawers with three open cubbies. Above the desk compartment is a small open shelf featuring a small ornate Victorian carved pedestal. Overall original dark finish and rich patina. Original wavy curved glass in the doors. Four adjustable shelves in each side. Original drawers pulls. All original working locks with keys. A rare unique antique piece of furniture that one does not see very often in original condition in today's markets. 72.50 inches tall by 54.50 inches wide by 14 inches deep. Desk height is 29 inches. From floor to bottom of desk lid is 28.50 inches. Inside dimensions of curve glass book shelf compartments are 14.75 inches wide by 47.50 inches tall. Guesstimated weight is 200 pounds.
