Wonderful mid century oil painting of a lone fisherman on the levee at Coyote Point in San Mateo, California by Ruth Garber Hulstede (American, 1892-1981). Signed "R. Hulstede '58" lower right. Unframed. Image, 14"H x 18"L.
A long time Belmont artist, her paintings reside in the San Mateo County Historical Museum. Exhibited; Crocker Citizen’s National Bank 1963, Peninsula Art Association Show, San Mateo County Fair and Floral Fiesta 1958, Santa Cruz Art League, State-Wide Art Exhibits (1928-1957).
