Quite a statement piece for this style, making it perfect to complement with a smaller companion server or table.
The piece features incredible detailed carving on three sides; ornate relief carved lion masks with iron pulls on the canted corners, carved gothic drop finials on the corners and arches, large carved acanthus bulbous shape supports, rest on Renaissance flair & mythical “dolphin” sea creature feet, fancy hand carved French foliate scrolls on the frieze, large carved stretcher provides stability and support, full length dovetailed drawers (lock mechanism (no key) between 2 lower drawers with North winds carved pulls, upper three drawers with round turned pulls, solid oak with a beautiful finish, well built by craftsmen of the period. Circa 1880.
