A great antique painting of a child boy in period dress. Information attached to the painting indicates the portrait was painted in 1890 by Mrs. H. V. Smith. George Griswold had his house built in San Jose in 1904. Painting was found under the house in the 1970’s. Name plate is original. Frame is gold with an attached metal studded banding.
Measures overall 33 ½” x 49 and painting 30” x 44”. Good condition, three patch repairs on rear. No additional damage; see photos.
