The veneered tops do show signs of wear mostly restricted to nicks and chips on the edges of the tops causing the original off-white paint to chip which as noted were touched up by previous owners making this set a perfect candidate to restore and repaint. The exquisitely shaped legs, ebonized in a silky jet-black stain, are in excellent condition showing no gouges, deep scratches or stains whatsoever.
