This book reproduces in full the original 1972 limited edition of 1000 two volume portfolio of 127 silk-screen prints on 66 sheets of paper --33 in each portfolio. It's printed on 200 gsm Gardapat Kiara paper with matt high-density inks and matt varnish in order to reproduce as faithfully as possible the original screen-prints. Today, many of these prints are sold as individual works of art. Here, one can appreciate the complete series as Josef Albers carefully sequenced to highlight the visual interactions he explored, and accompanied by his commentary on each plate. See less
