Most are buffet … Read more The Enchanto Company was based in Burbank made a number of different pottery items in the 1950s. Most are buffet servers, covered dishes, leaf candy dishes and trays. They also made figurines, wall pockets, vases and TV lamps. This is a classic Mid-Century Modern accent piece.

They used a number of different glazes, but often in blue, green or pink. Some of their items, including the applied flower trinket boxes. They also have a set of pear-shaped bowls. Most of the items are indeed marked as “Enchanto Co.” or “Enchanto”, and most of the time it’s an inmold stamp. They may have used foil stickers at times as well, especially on smaller items. This offering is a classic and unique Enchanoto design. A curved triangle shaped lidded box with a large rose adorning the top. The top has a mid-century chevron raised design. This piece is in good vintage condition with a few flea bites on the rose petals, nothing that detracts from the piece.
