1940's Original French Bottle Drying Rack (Model 1400.17). A classic piece of French rural life. This is a very early bottle rack usually used in larger households in rural France to hold drying bottles often in a dairy or vineyard. An unusual rack with a thin central column of flat bars. The rack is in exceptional condition an exceptional decorative object which can be used functionally as a hanging rack. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
