Pair of vases in inverted decorations enamels.
Appeared at the end of the 19th century in the province of Satsuma in the south of Japan, this porcelain is characterized by its ivory color background and by a multitude of very colorful sets in mainly ocher tones, embellished with gilded bronze.
This pair of vase is the perfect example, taking up all the criteria of authenticity of the Satsuma vases.
We find on the paunch a representation of samurai by a lake, not far from a pagoda, sitting on the ground.
The pass is short, covered with abstract decorations and surrounded cross. The foot also carries small spirals.
These bright colors will bring the warmth necessary for your interior decoration.
