A fabulous monumental Post modern brutalist mixed media construction attributed to listed American artist, John Garrett. Mr. Garrett is based in New Mexico and produces incredible mixed media sculpture and assemblage pieces. His work is widely exhibited and collected.
This piece from 2015 features various strips of scrap metal and hardware elements affixed to a large canvas panel aggressively and randomly painted. It is an excellent and attractive brutalist piece, more restrained than some of the artist's work and very hangable to add interest to any environment. It is signed and dated on verso and titled "Serenity".
The piece is in very good condition with no noticeable issues.
It measures approximately 40"w x 2"d x 60"h. Due to size and nature of the piece, we will be offering Chairish in-home shipping or local pick-up/delivery only.
