Original dramatic etching titled "Bryce Canyon" by American artist Adele Watson, modernist painter & muralist 1873 – 1947. Watson was born in Toledo, OH on April 30, 1873. Watson studied at the Art Students League of New York and with Raphael Collin in Paris. After spending the early part of her career in New York, she was active in Pasadena, CA from 1917 until her death. Her work includes landscapes, portraits, and nudes. This piece is signed, titled in pencil, and is number 15 out of a small edition of 50, professionally mounted in a distressed black wooden frame.
