Safari Chair by Wilhelm Kienzle. This design classic was created by Wilhelm Kienzle (born in Basel in 1886, died in Zurich in 1958) in the 1950s for the Swiss company Wohnbedarf AG Basel. The frame of this armchair is made of oak, and the upholstery is natural-colored core leather (the frame straps and armrests have been replaced with new core leather). The core leather of the seat and backrest are original and have an authentic patina.
I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
