This is a Staffordshire, Liberty Blue transferware coffee set is service for 8, along with one each creamer and lidded sugar bowl. All made in England. Dishwasher safe. All plates are blue and white. 19 pieces in total.
Excellent condition!
The Enoch Wedgwood Company of Staffordshire, England, made the Liberty Blue china pattern from 1975-1976 for the bicentennial of the Declaration of Independence. They were exclusively commissioned by The Benjamin Franklin Federal Savings bank, who gave them out as a promotional venture to new customers. Later, a supermarket sold them on a limited basis for a short time.
No chips, cracks, crazing or stains. Each piece looks new (many pieces stored in boxes for years).
