Exceptional vintage Chinese trunk on a stand. It has a rich Chinese red finish, and is hand painted in gold and black with Chinese symbols and imagery. It sits on a separate wood stand which is a slightly different color red-orange. There is some wear to the edges and corners giving it an overall worn patina which adds to its charm. Each side has an iron handle, and the front has an iron latch where a lock could be added. A great decorative piece that can also be used for storage, and as a table.
Trunk itself measures 24" wide x 16" deep x 13-1/4" high
Stand is 25-1/2" wide x 16-1/2" deep x 6-3/4" high
Overall dimensions are 25-1/2" wide x 16-1/2" deep x 20" high
