Son of the sculptor Jean-Baptiste-Louis-Joseph Moreau and younger brother of Hippolyte and Mathurin Moreau sculptors, he is recognized to produce essentially exceptional art bronzes. Having never received an official award, this notoriety will only intervene post-mortem.
This pair of green patina vase in a balustrical shape represents the vegetation embellished with a bird chasing dragonflies, and a cloud of butterflies looking for flowers to be boiled.
Young children with brown patina, slightly dressed, hanging on an inclined level, carefully scrutinize this nature.
This artistic production, signed A. Moreau, presents the founder's stamp, Eugène Blot Paris, at the foot of the vase.
Moreau realizes, through his work, a real ode to youth and nature, bucolic and idyllic.
