This elegant Antique porcelain figurine depicts a courting couple.
The woman is sitting on the grass holding a music book as the man leans over playing the lute. She is wearing a lavish lavender gown with yellow trim, maroon bodice, and white floral underskirt with green trim. Her pompadour coif accentuates her beautiful face as she looks at her handsome smiling suitor. He is wearing a blue overcoat with orange lining and gold trim, over blue floral vest and breeches and a white lace ascot. Behind them a stone pedestal supports a brass post
The figurine is mounted on an ornate gold perforated brass base .
