I dont think it was ever used, but it was a striking piece among exotic bottles and crystal glassware. It has no markings, so I cannot identify the pattern , maker or origin. I believe it to be glass.. not crystal. The decanter is in excellent condition no chips or scratches, though there is some wear to interior glass of decanter itself. The stopper has chips at the top (see Photos) the chips are not noticeable without close inspection. My Measurements are approximate 5 1/4" wide diameter at base. 11 5/8" High to lip, 16" High to top of stopper. It is cranberry/ ruby and clear glass. See less
