Created in China during the Qing Dynasty in the 19th century, this tall cabinet features a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by a two-toned finish. The cabinet showcases two brown wooden doors made of slightly recessed panels surrounded by a lighter frame. Fitted with elongated brass hardware including ornate pulls on shaped backplates, these doors open to reveal a dark red lacquered interior made of shelves and a lower compartment concealed under a lift-up board. The cabinet is raised on four straight legs connected to a simply carved apron in the front. The sides present a unified color. The back showcases a dark red finish. Adorned with three carved panels in its lower section, the cabinet is accented with semi circular motifs securing the thin wooden hinges.
