Created in Western India during the 19th century, this handsome Gujarat wooden armoire features a molded and beveled cornice gently leading our eye to the two doors below, beautifully adorned with iron braces that rhythmically balance the verticality of the silhouette. Hand-carved half columns adorned with capitals, create the perfect conclusion to this ensemble. Each door opens thanks to a small brass ring pull with floral backplate to reveal three inner shelves offering great storage opportunities. This robust armoire is raised on a bracketed plinth on three sides while the back is plain.
