Created in China during the Qing Dynasty in the 19th century, this wooden cabinet features a linear silhouette perfectly complimented by a light lacquer finish. The façade showcases two doors with recessed panels, opening thanks to a traditional brass hardware to reveal a black lacquered interior whose dark tones contrast with the front beautifully. The cabinet's lower section is made of four drawers with slightly raised panels, fitted with brass handles on floral backplates. The cabinet is raised on four straight legs connected to one another through a simply carved apron in the front and on the sides. The back is black with distressed appearance.
