Small 40 cm square chest of drawers / box / nightstand or sidetable by Ate van Apeldoorn. Aestethic clean and angular lines. There are no decorative elements, all attention is focused on the appearance of the natural wood grain structure and the striking finger joint wood connection of the thick panels. Van Apeldoorn’s work can be seen in the midcentury context of Danish and Dutch functionalisme, influenced by Gerrit Rietveld and Cees Braakman.
The use of pine wood also strongly refers to traditional Skandinavian furniture / Shaker style. This piece would make a great addition to Tapiovaara, Wegner or Mogensen collection. The compact design and the material evokes a warm and secure atmosphere.

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when
making a purchase on Chairish, in the event that your item:
- Does not arrive

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
