I'm very pleased to offer for sale this magnificent free-standing, table-top metal sculpture featuring an American Avocet made by the … Read more I'm very pleased to offer for sale this magnificent free-standing, table-top metal sculpture featuring an American Avocet made by the highly esteemed wood carving sculptor Tim TerMeer (Prescott Valley, AZ). The sculpture is in outstanding condition with no significant or noteworthy imperfections. It measures 12" tall with a 9x13" oval wooden platform pedestal base, which itself features: 1) a spinning (lazy susan) inset, and 2) several carved "tracks in the sand" leading up to the Avocet's feet. It weighs exactly 8 pounds. It has a brass plaque that reads: American Avocet 1/30 Tim TerMeer. I hope it's clear from the photos just how masterful a sculptor TerMeer is as evidenced by the incredible detail and realism. See less
