This covered catchall heralds two unmistakable decorative features. The edges are encrusted in gold leaf. And the famous Italian Middle Ages hunt scene by Giotto di Bondone dominates the decorative spaces of the outed wall and dome. Made in Florence Italy (Designated on gold leaf marking on the underside of the catchall).
The thick walled ceramic, the gold leaf and the pictorial decoration on this vintage piece are all in excellent condition.
The Item stands 7" tall and has a width of 5.5".
