A striking Bill Olendorf (1924 - 1996) sill life oil on Masonite. Vibrant neo-impressionist painting of a large bouquet of orange maple leaves and scripture "Notre Prix Nobel". Set in a white painted rounded beveled edge wooden frame (please see photo 2). Artist signed bottom right.
William "Bill" Olendorf was a life-long Chicago resident, advertising executive, and internationally known artist. His style was considered neo-impressionistic. He once had a studio in downtown Chicago and held exhibitions of his works in museums in Paris, Stockholm and Mykonos, Greece, as well as New York and Chicago.
