Stunning gold bullion embroidered camel on black velvet. Raw edges, appears to have been removed from something, perhaps a pillow. Decorative embroidered border, palm trees. The camel projects from the backing, almost like he is padded.
Overall measures 19” x 14”, but usable area is about 17½” x 13”. Fiber content, place of origin unknown.
No idea about age, but definitely not new.
