The carved wood frames date to the first half of the twentieth century and are finely detailed in Gothic tracery with modified Louis XV feet. Both stools are in very good condition and newly upholstered in a fine gray wool boucle. by Pierre Frey. These stools would make superb fireside pieces, as well as end-of-the-bed seating. Although not the typical Coastal style element, these stools would certainly feel at home in a Coastal-designed room. See less
