This box originated in California sometime during the 1960s. Originally a shipping container for watermelon at Pelican Point Farms. This box features handles on either side as well as a metal clasp allowing for this box to be used with a padlock.
The interior of this box measures 18.5" in width, 11" in depth with a height of 10". The overall dimensions of this box measure 21" in width, 13" in depth with a height of 16.5".
