Special pendant chandelier. This 13" globe is entirely handblown and unique. The interior is a genuine cased glass canister with the hole drilled through the pontil mark, with remnants of the pontil mark still visible and is not mass produced like other cased glass cylinders. Probably imported by Prescolite. Note that the interior cylinder is perfectly straight but the orb distorts the appearance. The orb is also cut at the bottom to allow the cased glass shade to be inserted and this cut area creates a halo of light. The light that is put out by this piece is quite spectacular and the porcelain socket is rated for up to 200 watts. It inspires a galaxy theme through the refraction of the bubbles. The ceiling plate is vintage but not original. This lamp has a drop of 43" which is of course adjustable. There are no chips to the glass but there are some light scratches visible upon close inspection only. We recommend professional installation only. See less
