A table top sculpture in soapstone depicting the god of longevity, one of three star gods in Chinese beliefs, "Shou Lao". Unsigned, artist unknown. Soapstone carved statue standing on a quartz-like stone base. One piece, statue does not separate from base. Origin unknown, likely made in China, in the mid 20th Century.
Measures: 5w 4.25d 14h, Weighs Approximately: 5 lbs
Very good condition with signs of age and normal previous use. No chips, cracks or repairs. Condition Rating: 8.5 / 10.0
