These are made of elm wood in the Lancashire style with double row spindle backs, and a shaped back crest. They have rush seats, and sit on four turned legs with stretcher bars. Each chair is a little bit different in height, and style. They are well used with signs of age, wear and repair throughout. They are sturdy and could be used as-is. Or, add a cushion. Or, could be refinished. Lots of life left in these six antique tavern chairs! See less
