Los Angeles native Donald Hildreth worked as an aerospace engineer and in real estate before following his career as an artist. He then studied under Kim English, Ovanes Berberian and Ted Goerschner as he evolved his own approach to Impressionism. Hildreth has exhibited widely and with success including at the Phippen Museum (Prescott, Arizona), Newington-Cropsey Foundation (Hastings-on-Hudson, New York), and in California, at the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, Pasadena Museum of California Art, and the Pasadena Museum of History. His work has been the subject of feature articles in numerous magazines including Southwest Art and Art of the West. Donald He is an Artist Member of Oil Painters of America and of the California Art Club. See less
