It is a demilune form overall, with a curved backsplash and center shelf in classic white marble. Grey and natural tone veining throughout the marble lends motion yet substance to the piece. The marble top rests upon the carved wood base and can be separated for transport.

It is unknown whether this was intentional at time of crafting or performed later in its long life and is noticeable only on close inspection. This is a lovely piece of history. There is very slight "wiggle" to the base, likely due to the heavy weight of the marble, which can be easily remedied by a professional. Due to its antique nature, we have not altered original condition or attempted to remedy the very slight "wiggle" in any way. Its hardly worth the mention, but doing so in good faith disclosure regarding condition. less
