With its lovingly time-worn composition and rugged beauty, this hand-knotted wool distressed vintage Persian Malayer gallery rug is a captivating vision of woven beauty. The abrashed field features a repeating geometric botanical design composed of all-over stylized florals. Complementary botanical motifs grace each corner spandrel. Imbued with blue and brown hues, the rich waves of abrash of painterly-like brush strokes and softly gradated striations run selvage to selvage blending seamlessly from one to the next. The amalgamation of colors harmonize one another, creating the perfect design and emanating function and versatility.
