The bench is hand-crafted in Sweden from pine and has been made carefully with attention to detail. The seat is made from a single board that stretches almost 3 meters in length. The legs are curved and inlaid into the seat for stability and aesthetic. While a functional piece time has been spent on this bench to make it special. from the curved legs to the subtle profiled edge running along the sides. The paint is old and distressed from time and use. The patina is genuine to the bench and gives it a loved and lived-in appearance after 200 years of use. There is one minor loss of material on one of the edges – see close up picture. The bench is healthy and solid with a stable frame. Wear consistent with age and use. See less
