Made of Paper collage and oil with mixed texture composition on illustration board. The painting depicts beautiful colors and modernist lines .
It has been signed by the artist and framed under clear glass in a silver aluminum framed with a hanging wire attached to the reverse side.

MARY CASSILLY

The artist was born in Hawaii, grew up in the American South, attended Agnes Scott College, Atlanta and was graduated from the Chicago art instituted in 1975. A sculptress, Cassilly lived and worked in Italy as a member of the Tuscan circle until her return to the United States in 1986.

The artist interest has recently turned to abstract paintings having been almost entirely devoted to marble sculpture since 1976. Cassilly's extensive or listie credits include shows at: Portofino Gallery , Atlanta , 1981; the international Marble exhibition , Tuscany , Italy , 1982 ; and the Women's sculpture exhibition , Pietrasanta , Italy , 1983. The widely traveled painters / sculptors maintains a studio in Pasadena , California and a residence in Pietrasanta. See less
