Nude of Woman is an Original China Ink Drawing realized by Pino della Selva (1904-1987). Good condition included a white cardboard passpartout (50x35 cm). Hand-signed by the artist on the lower right corner. Pino della Selva (pseudonym of Pino Giuffrida ) is a painter, sculptor , designer and engraver ( etching and woodcut ), also poet and art critic , born on January 3, 1904in Catania ( Sicily ), settled in Paris in 1931 (lived at 31, rue La Bruyère )died in 1987 in Paris. His pictorial work, which initially turned towards themes of a social nature ( Blind to Work in 1925, Workers in 1932) comparable to those of the French Édouard Pignon and André Fougeron, was then placed in the continuity of symbolism and surrealism , noting Gino Raya , in his monograph dedicated to our artist, a realistic pictorial profession in which you can feel the deformations prompted by the dream , even hallucinations . This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

Cancellations

- Chairish Freight Delivery
