Lovely pair of antique Japanese Meiji period (1868-1912) Satsuma porcelain vases turned lamps with tea stained colors and each handpainted with wonderful gilded classical motif decorations. They are both mounted on heavy solid brass 4"high bases. Recent restoration by a professional electrician so all of the wiring is new and in working order. Comes without shades.
CIRCA: Late 19th to early 20th century
MAKER'S MARK: None present as they were turned into lamps at some point.
