Vintage metal lampshade finial in the form of a columnar post with a cross arrow, including some chippy dark burgundy red paint that was likely added at some later point. It does appear to have a gold brass finish underneath, and could likely be stripped back to brass if so desired. This is the ideal form to top off a vintage bouillotte candle base lamp! Would also be great for other classic traditional lamp styles, or even for a more whimsical lamp. Finial stands 4 3/8" tall and arrow width is 3.25" across. Likely circa 1960s - early 1970s.
We have another nearly identical finial in our Home Lab shop, with a simple brass tone finish. Should you desire a pair of finials in this form, these two could be painted to match each other, and combined shipping can be arranged through the Chairish support team. Only the red painted finial is included in this listing. Lamp harp in photos is not included in purchase.
