It is hand cut marble and is extremely characterful. Has significant age and commensurate wear, with no major chips or stains.i have researched to discover the possible origin and concluded that it definitely has the appearance of French mortars and have listed it as such. It was likely brought to Virginia by immigrants since our family is of Irish and Welsh descent. See less
