Piero Fornasetti "Cammei" coffee table composed of a lithographic transfer with cameo motif on lacquered wood supported by a black enameled-steel base with brass, adjustable feet (ca. 1955, Italy).
The Cammei pattern is Fornasetti's homage to Classicism, and the modernist form of the table base contrasts nicely with the "old world" subject matter on the surface.
Natural yellowing to the top from age along with small spots of lacquer loss / light wear along the edging and a tiny surface nick, as shown.
Overall, very good, vintage condition.
Signed with decal manufacturer’s label to underside: "Fornasetti Milano Made in Italy."
