This Really is a Great Looking - Very Unusual Antique American Iron Fireplace - Hearth Warming Trivet. Circa Mid 19th Century. It is Completely Hand Made. The Legs Hand Forged out of Wrought Iron and the Reticulated Top is Heavy Cast Iron. This Piece would have been used as a Warming Platform for Cooking Pots - Cauldrons - Pans - Water Kettles Etc. It is in Very Nice All Original Condition. No Damage - No Repairs. The Iron Surfaces Show Many Years of Use and Exposure Giving a Wonderful Authentic Old Look & Patina that Only Time Could Create - Cannot be Duplicated. It Displays Very Nicely.
It Measures 11 inches Tall x 15 1/2 inches Long x 12 1/2 inches Wide.
