It was entirely hand carved from solid wood in the 1960's and includes one large bowl, 8 serving bowls, and one spoon. Each of the bowls has and indention where the spoon can rest. From the deep rich color of the wood to the elegant curving lines made by the carver - this set will dazzle your guests! The bowls are large enough to serve whatever you please...salads, main courses, fruit, dessert, etc... Because the set is entirely hand made, each bowl is slightly different in shade and size, making for a beautiful and unique set! When not in use the bowls fit nicely together in the large serving bowl for easy storage.
