Rudolf Wächter Porzellanmanufaktur in Bavaria was known for their exquisite use of gold and silver overlay on porcelain. This 3 piece set of cup, saucer, and dessert plate shows the silver overlay. The amazing silver leafy scroll artwork is stunning, and the red roses delicately stand out with such elegance. The dark-colored trim, cup pedestal and swirled edging of the plates adds the contrast to this adorable set. There is some ware on some of the edging, mainly due to age. I have always had this as part of my cup and saucer collection and have never used it.
The dessert plate is 8” in diameter and about ¾” high
The saucer is 6” in diameter and ¾” high
The cup is 4” in diameter and 2 ¼” high
